Dr. Samantha Wetz is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She received her bachelor’s in biology with a minor in chemistry from Florida State University and graduated from St. Matthew’s University in 2018. She completed a one-year post-doctoral internship in shelter medicine at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Wetz is passionate about community outreach and considers educating guardians and the community the most powerful tool in promoting pet health and welfare. Her veterinary interests include preventive medicine, shelter medicine, surgery and teaching. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Sami loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, enjoy the great Colorado outdoors, foster kittens, and go for runs with her dog Waylon.
